Blue Queen

#39/365 Paintings

I just wanted to see what a blue queen looks like. We hear so much about the “Red Queen.” And for good reason given the allegorical and scientific “Red Queen Hypothesis” — running in place, coevolution and extinction of  some species (like parasites). All somewhat depressing if you ask me. I think the “Blue Queen Hypothesis” would be something like: As long as your are swimming in blue water as often as possible much is possible in your life. See the circles behind her. Oh the worlds and lives she has lived (riding her horse stick — the envy of the wicked witches of the west).

Swimming in blue water or out under the blue sky, riding in a blue convertible with a blue scarf on – can you tell I am so ready for summer?

Is The Blue Queen the keeper of all the Hues of Blue…Cobalt to Midnight to sky to deep sea to the sound of Miles Davis Blue Dream that derives from the blue horns of nature…I feel she must have unique blue eyes of course.

Right now I was told she saw herself drawn on a piece of note paper and serendipitously given to a veracious artist that lives to live on inspiration mixed in with a little life action and some Madagascar blue bean coffee poured in a Cup that is mysteriously shaped in the form of a blue bird sitting on her shoulder…. its truth. Its actual, its simply satisfactual. Just ask her Stick Horse.
