Is there anything better than homemade bread and preserves? At one point in my early twenties I made bread baking my church on Sunday. Something about filling the house with the smell of warm bread was a leavening experience. Sorry, that pun was intended. I’m fascinated with the idea of making preserves. But I have yet to do it. I recently discovered a recipe with rose water—Blackberry Rose Jam. Yum.
