Wildflowers #6 | Exotics

#72/365 Paintings
This is the last in the “Wildflowers Series.” Next comes more sky-floaty-March-winds type paintings and a new series of flowers. The next flowers series is more experimentation in mixed media design. Fun, fun, fun!
Oh Niya, you need to get out here during the high desert spring and see our CACTUS and Penstamons bloom — speak of a riot of wild rugged spikey color!! I may have to go out and do some paintings and photos to send back to you ~ hugs, Laurel
I would love that Laurel. Both if I could see it for myself but also to see your paintings and photos. You are so talented!
Silly thought for the day, prompted by the hours I’ve spent in planes this week. Wouldn’t it be nice if planes had window boxes of flowers like this and you could sit and smell them in the window and even fall asleep with your face in them.

What a fabulous idea. And computers too. I want to smell things. Or simply get rid of computers altogether and return to tribal communities. With all this evolvement with high tech, I can’t say we are better off if we can’t smell lovely flowers in airplanes!
